Description: Produced in the 1950s and 60s, Audemars Piguet’s calibre 2001 embodied the era’s pursuit of discreet luxury. At just 1.64 mm thick, it was among the thinnest hand-wound movements of its time, allowing AP to create elegant dress watches Model: Ultra-thin dress watch. Year: Circa 1960s. Material: 18ct yellow gold case. Case Dimensions: 31.5mm diameter, 32.5mm lug-to-lug, 7.5mm thickness. Dial and Hands: Silvered dial with applied gold baton hour markers, subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock, and gold feuille hands. Crystal: Acrylic plexiglass crystal. Calibre: Audemars Piguet calibre 2001, manual wind, 18 jewels. Bracelet/Strap: Brown Hirsch lizard skin leather strap with gold-plated pin buckle. Box/Papers: None supplied.
