For your consideration, Dr4 Watches has on offer a beautiful Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore with the deep gray tapisserie dial and featuring the rare Audemars Piguet bracelet and the wonderful hornback, buffered leather strap. This one is colloquially called "The Elephant" and like an Elephant it has a strong, powerful wrist prsence. Adding to the value is a wonderful, super-premium RubberB strap and a nice travel case that does the best job of keeping this fine, "Holy Trinity" sporting legend timepiece free from scratches as you venture around the world with this one. Is there a more beautiful, sporting and awesome on bracelet Royal Oak Offshore... with the additional strap options and bonus items... for under $30K? In this excellent pre-owned condition? (Also remember to "buy the Seller"... so check-out my feedback, my ratings, the massive amount of premium, expensive timepieces that I have successfully sold) Of course we are bringing the best value on the internet because we tirelessly source our inventory and inspect very closely upon receipt for quality and authenticity. We are extremely thorough in our listings and we still absolutely encourage questions regarding the timepieces. If you have questions regarding the specifications, provenance, history, etc., no problem. Just ask if you have a question! We only deal in 100% real watches because reputation is critical for us and in this industry in particular. We always have the inventory in our possession. We do not do the broker thing. The condition of this watch is as follows: Excellent. See the pictures for condition and note that we strive to show every little imperfection in our photos. Because we only want timepiece customers who are delighted with their purchase, we strive to add some additional insight to help you make a great timepiece decision. With that in mind, some additional considerations about this watch include: 1. This watch is oversized and impressive. They key dimensions are 42mm (not including the crown, crown guards and pushers) and lug-to-lug of 54mm not including the integration dual points (on both sides) for the leather or indeed the super, premium rubber RubberB strap. Adding those integration points adds another 4.5mm (for a total of approximately 58.5mm). The key take-away is that this watch is suited for a wrist of 7 inches or larger on the leather strap... maybe 6+3/4 inches on the rubber or bracelet. Interestingly the watch is relatively thin at under 15mm which is impressive given the haute horology and technical, build quality of this legendary beast of a watch. The watch looks great on my 7+1/4 inch wrist on the bracelet, on the leather strap and on the RubberB rubber strap. 2. The bracelet will fit up to about a 8 inch wrist with all of the links attached. The watch bracelet is currently sized for a comfortable, snug fit on my 7+1/4 inch wrist and there is about a 3/4 of inch in extra links that you can see. 3. Audemars Piguet, a "those in the know" and "Holy Trinity" Swiss watch manufacturer is quite simply a revered timepiece "Haute Horology" manufacturer with fairly small annual production of high-demand timepieces. This one is a compliments and conversation magnet because of the attention getting and iconic Royal Oak Offshore design. Literally, every night that I wear this one out, I get comments on it. And those comments are even more passionate and frequent when worn on the impressive, iconoic, integrated bracelet. The bracelet is also an iconic design in its own right and is a "seperator" between those who really know AP Royal Oak Offshore timepieces versus thos who "know of them." At its heart, this is a masculine --- trample thy enemies --- sporting timepiece and it has significant gravitas in impression and significant weight on the wrist. 4. The tapisserie dial is fantastic, substantial and interesting and combines well with the iconic octagonal case look as you can see. The dee[ gray dial with the classic AP shadow arabic numerals and stick indices leans into the Gerald Genta design language. Pair this with high-end food and beverages at your very best bars and restaurants in your city. That is how I enjoyed it most. 5. I personally love the integrated and very classy bracelet --- it looks very high-end and luxurious. It is, however, quite heavy with the watch weighing a whopping 9 ounces with all of the links. With the three links not on it (to fit my 7+1/4" wrist) it is 8.2 ounces. Substantial and I feel like I am wearing an impressive piece of watchmaking. Wonderful. 6. I rerferenced "Haute Horology" earlier and this designation and impressive chronometry (e.g., timekeeping accuracy) are both certainly part of the equation when one is considering an Elephant. But so too is finishing and attention to detail. The watch case, movement, buckle, leather, bracelet and dial all reward a closer inspection and appreciation. Specific to finishing you have a mix of polished, satinized and brushed finishing --- all done to exacting standards. You have the polished, countersunk, hexagonal bezel bolts --- beautifully aligned. Even details like the impressive ridget on the leather bracelet and nicely finished, signed buckle are exceptionally high-end. The movement is an Audermars Piguet in-house caliber 3126 with a 3840 module. In total, 365 parts and 59 pivot jewels and a gets you through the week-end 55 hour power reserve speaks to the horological complexity under-pinning the movement and driving chronometry. 7. Activating the chronograph is a breeze and allows impromptu timing of events such as how long it takes the bartender to make a complex cocktail. And note that there are signicant upgrades with this more modern upgraded Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore. Most obvious in the upgrades over the previous versions is the exhibition caseback as opposed to the solid caseback on older Royal Oak Offshore models. There are also subtle changes to the case, materials used (e.g., ceramic pushers with wonderful finishing which replaced more basic pushers)... and still some iconic things stay the same --- for instance, the internal cyclops date window. 8. Flipping this one over and the party continues. You get to see the movement, the coat-of-arms signed rotor, "haute horology" Cote-des-Geneves and perlage finishing and a variety of polishing, chamfering and such that, again, speaks to the special construction of this timepiece. 9. You will note that the straps and bracelet are attached via screws because that is more secure, definitely more appropriate for a heavy sports watch and in keeping with the Haute Horology expectations. A quick-set date feature and 100m water resistance as one would expect with a quality sporting chronograph but please use the expensive, premium RubberB strap for water splashing. The best bars and restaurants, travel, activities in and around water. Note that the watch weighs about 30% less on the rubber or leather at 5.8 ounces and 5.5 ounces respectively. Simply, align your strapping option to the task at hand an go for it! 10. Rounding on the listing details, the buyer will get everything that you see in the "everything photo" (#2) and you will note that there is a bonus travel case included. It fits the watch perfectly on the bracelet and I prefer it for storage and travel as it is wonderfully small --- but secure --- and prevents scratching very well. We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you). Everything we sell is working fine for all functions when it leaves our facility (or more specifically the safe deposit box where our watches reside). In some cases, we can go back to our source and get the watch repaired for free based on our relationship and reputation. We should always be the first port-of-call if there is an issue. 100% delighted customers so far and we aim to keep it that way. Please examine the pictures, what you see is what you get. The only exceptions are the black case that we photograph on and the English Bull Dog which we put in our group shots because we think it looks great. The Bull Dog is a James Bond tie-in and we kind of really like James Bond. And finally, we are an Atlanta based business but we also operate out of North Florida (some inventory in both places) as I like to include my brother in the business some. Continental USA or eBay International Shipping Program only. Thank you for your consideration, Steve This item's authenticity will be verified by experts before delivery
