Working with fellow watchmakers Jaeger LeCoultre and Vacheron Constantin since the early 1960s to develop an ultra-thin automatic movement, Audemars Piguet was able to release one of the world’s thinnest automatic movements at the time, the cal. K2072. With its thin movement and screw-down caseback, the ref. 5222’s 35mm stainless steel case is both robust and capable as an everyday piece. Boasting a silver dial with stick indices, the ref. 5222 is an under-the-radar timepiece that speaks to AP's more traditionalist side.
