While the Royal Oak was first released in 1972, it wasn't until 1993 before Audemars Piguet decided to put a chronograph movement into the venerable Genta design. It wasn't as simple as just that, however - we can see the attention to detail when looking at how the chronograph function was implemented. For example instead of normal round pushers, the designers chose octagonal screw-down pushers to pay homage to the bezel's shape. This one is in very good condition, with some light marks to the solid yellow gold case.
