It features a 42mm. diameter 18K pink gold case with a titanium bezel, a ‘méga tapisserie’ grey dial, and grey ceramic winding and setting crowns. Nicknamed the ‘Japan Diver’ by collectors, it is thought due to the first 150 pieces being delivered to Audemars Piguet’s Tokyo Boutique. A beguiling mix of the weight and density of gold with the lightness of titanium, the bicolour aesthetic of this Royal Oak Offshore ‘Japan Diver’ is quite striking with an undeniable visual appeal and contemporary vibe. The ceramic crowns are a unique feature that is not seen in other Offshore Diver models. As a diver's watch, it features a rotating bezel for measuring the elapsed dive time as well as a date display. The movement is AP’s in-house automatic Caliber 3120. The ‘Japan Diver’ is almost never seen at auction. The present watch offers collectors the chance to obtain a prime example of this most attractive of limited edition Royal Oak Offshore references.
