Launched in 2021 as a limited edition of just 28 pieces, the ref. 1LMAR.A02A.C153A is made of 18kt rose gold and features a stunning white time-only dial set atop an aventurine backdrop that also houses the largest model Moon ever fitted to a wristwatch. Made of marble and aventurine, this three-dimensional model Moon accurately represents the appearance of the quarters of the moon against a starry backdrop, an incredible feat considering the sheer size of the Moon, and how much of the dial it takes up. Measuring 44mm in diameter and boasting a case with beveled lugs and a flat bezel, the Luna Magna’s simple, but finely executed, design language adds to the aesthetic weight of its Lunar-inspired display, with reveals the length and breadth of Arnold & Son’s craftsmanship. However, it only forms part of the Luna Magna's display, with it set above an aventurine backdrop, with the largest rotating Moon ever fit into a wristwatch just below it at 6 o'clock.
