This Aquastar Regate Newport: The last regatta watch that Aquastar released with an automatic movement, was the model Regate Newport in the mid 1980’s. It houses the same Lemania 1345 movement as before, and uses the case from the Heuer 134.50X series in which Heuer had launched their Regatta models in 1983. Obvious the collaboration with Heuer still existed. The silver and black dials are equal as in the Olympic Start models, except for the name Olympic Start which has been replaced by Newport. Although Heuer launched only two versions (134.500 and 134.505), Aquastar had at least three different ones. This watch is in very good condition, all unpolished and sharp. This besides the bezel that has a peeled off gold varnish. It's worth to polish it to fully steel or give it some attention/varnish. Internally we see the Lemania 1345 calibre, very well cared for, accurate and clean. It runs perfectly fine and accurate like it should. The bracelet is very nice, very strong, no stretch at all and for about 19cm wrists. This watch comes in our luxury box with warranty report and 1 year warranty.
