ANGOT (London) Spindle pocket watch

ANGOT (London) verge pocket watch. 18th century, silver case, gilt (inner cover hallmarked), approx. 40mm diameter, enameled dial with Roman numerals, signed "ANGOT London", gilt filigree hands, movement with ornamental openwork scrollwork on the gilt plate, signed "Fr. ANGOT, London" and numbered "1977" on the plate, domed crystal, two protective cases: the inner case in gilt metal, the rear cover with a relief of a multi-figure reception at court, the outer case in brass, lacquered in a tortoiseshell pattern, significant lacquer damage and some dents, approx. 55mm diameter, watch is running, but function untested and without guarantee.
