Signature - Unsigned Art Deco thin pocket watch, Egyptian revival décor; yellow gold (18-carat) and enamel -- Yellow gold (18-carat) and enamel, open-face, keyless-winding, round-shaped, thin Art Deco pocket watch, with Egyptian revival décor. -- Case: three-piece, polished and satin-finished; oval-shaped screwed bow. Case-back decorated with an Egyptian female figure in high relief, probably Isis, under a winged solar disc (eagle or falcon) decoration and over an ‘uraeus’ (cobra) motif, in translucent red, opaque green and white enamel, with decorative hieroglyphics ; bezel decorated en suite. Dial: gold colour, metal (one-piece), guilloché (engine-turned) ‘sunburst’ motif, with black painted suspended Arabic ‘Dauphine’ numerals; external minute track divided five by five with black painted radiating lines; blued steel ‘Breguet’ hands. Movement: calibre 1 (ébauche probably by LeCoultre, Le Sentier, Vallée de Joux), manual-winding, probably 18 jewels, gilded brass, going barrel, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensated balance, blued steel flat hairspring, polished steel index-regulator.
