Only Patek Philippe had produced such wristwatches, and they were in small numbers. The name changed in 1943 to Chronodate and became the best-selling Angelus model.   This Angelus Chronodato is a large 38 mm, 18K solid gold chronograph with triple 45-minute date display with gold pyramid hour markers and day/month and day of the month apertures perimeterwise. It can be dated between 1943 and 1950. It features a perfect original gold-colored dial , never retouched, with a beautiful vintage patina (fig.6/7) and high-quality manual-winding cal 217 movement decorated with Cotes de Geneve. Case measures 38mm (without crown) x 45mm (lug to lug), reference 36, with stepped lugs. Distance between strap lugs: 20mm Black alligator strap with generic buckle the watch works well etall functions are perfectly preserved.
