Lange & Söhne “sky bridge” time bridge display inspired by the Semper Opera House clock with an additional ring-date display circling the dial. Bearing such unconventional design layout, without hands to indicate the hours and minutes, it is supported by the remontoir d’égalite, a constant-force mechanism providing uniform energy flow to power the solid silver milled jumping hour and minute discs to create seamless shifting of time at the precise beat. The latest watch to the Zeitwerk collection is equipped with a ring-date display. Unlike conventional date window, the date numerals are spread out and the current date is highlighted in red. The date can be set by pressing the pusher at the 8 o’clock position, then the highlighted red would shift around the outer circumference of the dial.
