The "datomatic" that appears on the newly developed caliber is a coined word that combines the German words "Datum" meaning date and "automatischer Aufzug" meaning automatic winding. It displays the outsize date at 3 o'clock and the day of the week at 9 o'clock. No other sports watch with elegance is equipped with an automatic movement that incorporates an outsize date display and a large day-of-week display. The day of the week and date can be easily adjusted using push buttons integrated into the side of the case. The dial is dark blue with radial embossing on the hour markers, creating a chic yet luxurious look. It is a timepiece full of Lange &Söhne's dedication to perfection.
