Nicknamed the "Stealth" due to the monochromatic case, dial, and date disc color scheme, this is truly a deep cut in the highly desirable and iconic Lange 1 catalog.
Case: Platinum, 38.5 mm, I believe it to be unpolished, surface scratches from normal wear throughout that could easily be finished out at the buyer's choosing. Lange can do this and make it look like new at service.
Dial: Clean, distinct, and iconic Lange 1 dial that I don't know fully gets the attention it deserves given it has a lot of warmth and really takes on the colors of the surrounding environment. Very pleasing and versatile compared to the coldly stark "darth". There are one or two very minor surface marks on the crystal, these could potentially be buffed out, and are typically only noticeable in photos, appearing to be dust. Lange will typically change the crystal at service, which is why I have opted to leave it to be performed at the buyer’s discretion.
Movement: Working properly, winding, setting, operating smoothly, service history is unknown.
Includes: Original signed croc strap (calfskin leather backed), signed platinum buckle with all hallmarks very deep and visible, box, booklet, and Lange's proof of origin certificate (their version of an extract).
