ZENITH EL PRIMERO CHRONOGRAPH – A788 – VINTAGE 1970
Zenith El Primero A788 also known as PA53031 The watch has a stunning rare all original blue/silver dial in mint condition, the El Primero red second hand flyback, chrome luminescent hands, 3 large silver sub dials, outer tachymetre track and automatic date window at 4 o’clock. The dial is signed T-Swiss Made-T at 6 o’clock. The watch is powered by the legendary Caliber 3019 PHC Automatic Swiss Made 17-jewels movement. Zenith’s El Primero movement, introduced in 1969, remains regarded as one of the finest chronograph movements ever made. This rare and unusual reference A788 was produced for only 2 years and only 1400 examples were ever made! Ours features a very rare beautiful blue metallic dial and is in absolutely amazing original condition with less than a handful available for sale worldwide this is probably the best example out there !
