, The Daytona is an iconic watch by Rolex and has stood the test of time through the various iterations. Worn by notable figures around the world it combines form and function in equal measure. A personal favourite for me is the 16520. The sizing and proportions are just on point for the midsized wristed folks out there.
A crisp and beautiful all original example of a 1998 U series Rolex " Zenith " Daytona with stunning white dial and tritium hour plots and hands, the tritium has turned to a creamy hue.
The case remains thick, with even strong edges, possibly been very lightly polished in the past, but thick, and more even than 70% of the examples out there. The caseback like new, and crisp.
The bracelet is in excellent condition with zero stretch and correctly polished and brushed parts. Very light hairline scratches to the clasp.
The watch has been fully serviced by a Rolex trained watchmaker and running perfectly with all chonograph functions resetting to zero.
A true collectors watch and not to be missed, and timely investment.
