The Vacheron Constantin 49005 was introduced in 1992 and is the first version of this highly complicated wristwatch made by the firm. It combines a perpetual calendar—meaning it will display the day, date and month continuously, accounting for leap years—along with a moon-phase display and chronograph function, all of which are housed in a fine, in this case, pink-gold case.
