UNIVERSAL GENEVE Climate Proof cal. 262 Diameter 34/36 mm Thickness: 9.5 mm 1952 approx. Excellent vintage Universal Geneve piece, distinguished by its unusual indication "Climate Proof", typically used to indicate finishes able to withstand different climates and thus suitable for travellers. Provided with calibre Universal 262 (movement In-House) with hand wind of 17 jewels - 18,000 Alt/h with a power reserve of approx. 39 hours. Dial in excellent condition, with Arabic numerals and indexes, shipping with beautiful hands and small seconds at 6 o'clock. Case back in steel marked (41234/1625202), marked "Universal" internally. Strap in leather in good condition, with light traces of use. The watch dates back to 1952, but is hardly worn, thus it's in excellent condition with the perfectly working mechanism.
