1950s Universal Geneve Uni-Compax Türler

Here we present you a rare and beautiful example of a Universal Geneve Uni-Compax with two piece water resistant case. The Compax was released in 1935 and was thee first Chronograph with hour and minute registers. As you will notice the case has turned down lugs and a tonneau case design with a small angled step bezel construction, a heselite crystal and pump action pushers. The special feature with this Compax is the added line of script on the dial. It is indeed Co-signed by Türler, a large European retailer in Zurich. This was very incommon for Universal Geneve. This is an applied logo dial. The watch measures 35mm excluding crown and has a good depth, and wrist presence with the applied white gold hour markers contrasting the pumpkin lume, perfectly preseved on the dial and in the alpha hands, with the added depth of the blue steel central chronograph hands and minute/hour counters Overall the watch is in excellent condition with in house movement. The watch is finished on a deep brown crocadile strap. , Reference: 22296 2 Year: 1950s Case: Fully steel, screwback and dust cover Dial : Luminous, applied seconds track Dimensions: 35 mm excluding signed crown Function: Manual winding, fully serviced Caliber: 281 Strap: Leather Accessories: No box or papers
