Did you know that the universal GENEVA brand was one of the pioneers of aviation?
The year was 1952, and for the first time in history a Scandinavian airline sas successfully flew from Los Angeles to Copenhagen. It may seem like nothing today, but at the time it took a great many technical challenges to make it happen!
The sas pilots needed a reliable watch to carry out their mission, but the magnetic fields of the polar region interfered with the smooth running of the mechanisms.
it was the universal GENÈVE brand that accompanied the pilots of the Scandinavian company sas.
This is how the famous polerouter was born, with a design by Gérald Genta (no less!).
Add to this the perfection of its "tropical" patina, and you have the perfect vintage!
Its hands and lights are in magnificent condition.
