Introduced as the second collaboration between famed watch publication Hodinkee and independent watchmaker Unimatic, their latest release is the Modello Uno U1S-C-GMT-H. Boasting a distinctive forged carbon fiber design for the first time in Unimatic’s history, this limited edition watch, limited to just 250 units, features a 41.5mm blacked-out carbon fiber case that features a unique marbled effect that created a distinctively sleek aesthetic. Paired with a matte black unidirectional 24-hour bezel and a blacked-out dial with large white indices and hands that allow for fantastic legibility, the watch is minimalist in design with its floating skeletonized GMT hand and blacked-out date window fading into the background of its design. Water-resistant up to 300 meters and powered by the ETA cal. 2893-2 automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve, this watch is designed for adventurers. Each piece is uniquely marked with a serial number and a special Unimatic x Hodinkee engraving on the caseback that marks it as the second collaboration between these two powerhouses of industry.
