This striking 90s chronograph is the Tudor Prince Date 79280 with the rare silver dial and white totalizers.
The chronograph is one of the last produced Tudor watches with the name Oyster Date still on the dial, from 1997 Tudor used the lettering "prince date",
The caseback still had the Rolex engravings and the stainless steel bracelet was still equipped with Tudor logos.
Reference 79280 marked the model with a steel bezel and stainless steel tachymeter scale. The present specimen from 1996 inspires especially by the top orig. condition (minimal traces of wear), unpolished.
The heart of the chronograph is the reliable Valjoux caliber 7750.
This Tudor Oyster Date becomes a real collector's item due to the fact that it is a "full set", sold in November 1996 through the German concessionaire Exner.
