Tudor Prince Date 79280
This is a very nice Tudor Prince Date Chronograph, reference number 79280P. This beautiful Tudor is the last model to closely resemble the Rolex Daytona, with components like the case, bezel, crown, pushers, and bracelet being almost identical. However, it is powered by the reliable Valjoux 7750 movement instead of the 4130, making servicing more economical.
Additionally, the Tudor retains the use of 316L stainless steel rather than the 904L used by all Rolex models. This is a blessing, as 316L is 50% harder and more resistant to scratches compared to the more scratch-prone 904L.
This watch has recently been overhauled and polished, keeping excellent time and looking almost like new. The bracelet consists of 12 links (four removable), fitting up to a 7.5” wrist.
