As we've come to expect from watches of the TUDOR Pelagos collection, the Pelagos FXD is entirely modern but also rooted in history. The TUDOR Pelagos FXD has a titanium case with a diameter of 42mm. The case is crowned by a bidirectional bezel. The ceramic inlay is engraved has a 60 unit countdown scale with markers at each of the 60 units. As an ultimate expression of military cool, the TUDOR Pelagos FXD features fixed bars. This means that there's no spring bar, but rather a fixed bar between the lugs - indeed, the FXD part of the reference number. As such, the watch is worn with loop-through straps. The TUDOR Pelagos FXD is delivered with two of them - one in rubber, and one in fabric. Inside the TUDOR Pelagos FXD ticks the brand's manufacture caliber MT5602, a COSC-certified self-winding movement with a power reserve of 70 hours. It is hidden from view by a closed back engraved with the year of production. Unlike the regular Pelagos, the FXD does not feature a helium escape valve. Offered for sale here is a Tudor Pelagos Ref. 25707B/21 is New Old Stock (NOS) condition, still preserving the original protective stickers. The blue dial features a lovely grained texture, contrasting with the white hour markers and hands in a beautiful way. The full graduated bezel with a countdown scale and toothy grip, which has been implemented with bi-directional rotation to aid in underwater navigation, has 120-click action, and features a fully lumed ceramic insert in immaculate condition. The case is made of titanium and measures 42mm wide and 14.3mm in thickness. It remains completely unworn, featuring super sharp bevels. The case back is signed with the Marine Nationale Logo and “M.N. 21”, as a nod to the MN watches of Tudor’s past, protected by the original sticker still present as a sign of being unworn. The no-date execution points to Tudor using a different movement, and here we see the FXD using a COSC-certified MT5602. The 5602 is an automatically-wound 4Hz movement with 70 hours of power reserve that was announced in 2016 and can also be found in no-date Black Bay models like the 41mm Black Bay Dark. The FXD fabric strap is made by the wonderfully old-school Julien and measures 22mm wide and is cinched via a signed titanium D-ring. The extra rubber strap is also included in the set. Box are unworn. It comes as a full set including boxes, guarantee cards and manuals. The original purchase invoice is also included. Macros of dial and case are available under request.
