* Bei der Wasserdichtigkeit einer Uhr handelt es sich gemäß DIN 8310 um keine bleibende Eigenschaft. Sie ist eine Momentaufnahme, welche zum Zeitpunkt der Prüfung gilt. Insbesondere hohe Temperaturschwankungen, Stöße, Salzwasser, Schweiß und Hautcremes können die Wasserdichtigkeit negativ beeinflussen. Deshalb sollte die Wasserdichtigkeit einmal jährlich durch einen Fachhändler geprüft werden und Dichtungen ggf. getauscht werden.
Vintage Modelle sollten darüber hinaus auf Grund ihres Alters nicht mit Wasser in Berührung kommen.
