AUTAVIA = auto and aviation! What was Tag Heuer’s first Chronograph? Monoco? Carrera? No - it was the Autavi!!!
The Tag Heuer Autavia Chronograph was released in 1962. This is their 60th Anniversary edition and is the FIRST flyback chrono ever made in the Autavia line. This model was released in January of 2023.
This watch is MINT. There is not a mark anywhere. It comes with box and warranty card (and hang tag). It has an extra bomber jacket brown strap I put a pic of the strap (not on it currently). If you want to see what it would lol ok like Google Speedmaster on brown strap (site won’t let me upload an example but it is EXACTLY like that AND THAT LOOKS GREAT). It is water resistant to 100m and has 80 hrs of power reserve. It has a cool pop of color with Autavia in orange.
The few times I wore it, I got compliments every time - including a Tag Heuer AD that stopped me because he had never seen one. Want to be a little different than all of the glass boxes, this is it. Not to mention, as a pilot, car, 100m water resistant watch, it can do it all.
