(HEUER CARRERA AUTOMATIC WATCH/ SPECIAL RE-EDITION SERIES REF. WS 212), circa 2001 Reissue version of the pilot's watch from the 1960s. Steel case with bevelled horns and screwed back (Heuer logo). Silvered dial with minute railroad, applied Arabic numerals, date at 3 and luminescent steel hands. The name Carrera comes from the famous car race of the 1950s the Carrera Panamericana Mexico. Comes with two straps, one in leather with Heuer buckle and one Tropic rubber from the 1960s. Movement: Mechanical automatic winding caliber signed HEUER/ 5 base 2824-2 (25 jewels) Swiss Diam. 35mm.
