Seiko Marinemaster SLA017J1
This beloved 62MAS re-imagination was originally bought in Japan (Tokyo), hence it has model number SBDX019 for the Japan domestic market instead of the usual model number SLA017 for overseas market. The watch has serial number <100 out of the 2000 made. The actual number is very interesting. Its movement 8L35 is essentially from Grand Seiko. The overall condition of the watch is very good with some usual light marks on the surface due to normal use. But nothing serious. The crystal and the rotating bezel are almost perfect. The watch is used in rotation as part of my collection. The watch runs very smoothly and being very accurate. I took it to a very experienced (Japanese) watch marker (especially to service complicated watches) for a service recently, but he returned the watch to me after a quick check (without opening the case back) stating that the Seiko runs smoothly and it would not need a service in the near future.
The steel bracelet was only used no more than a few times just for trials and so it looks new. It has been sized to my wrist with all the spare links available. The Seiko comes with original box, papers, (Japanese) tags, etc. The sailcloth strap is not included. Price fixed.
