This watch from the descendant of the original owner is part of a small series of watches produced at Rolex from 1947. This reference was available in several versions in steel or even two-tone like this one in yellow or pink gold and steel .
Considered at the time to be the most complicated watch in production at Rolex, the Dato Compax has become a much sought-after piece today by many collectors. Its classic style gives it a very classic appearance like the sports watches produced thereafter.
