The Rolex Yacht Master II 116681 is crafted with a 44mm stainless steel case that houses the 4161 caliber automatic movement. This certified Swiss chronometer uses 48 jewels and is equipped with Rolex’s Parachrom hairspring, made of a powerful niobium-zirconium alloy that offers anti-magnetic properties and up to 10 times greater shock resistance than standard hairsprings. The 4161 works in conjunction with the Everose Ring Command bezel. Rather than winding the crown to operate the watch’s functions, the wearer twists the Ring Command to set the regatta timer. Simply turn the bezel until the word Yacht Master II lines up with the crown. Then use the crown to set the minute hand between 1 and 10 minutes on the dial’s counter. This sets the regatta countdown. The white dial features Chromalight indices and a conventional small seconds counter, which allows the wearer to measure the time elapsed for precision timekeeping both in and out of the water. The dial is covered with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and a screwdown case back to ensure that the watch is waterproof up to 330 ft and designed to withstand the rigors of the open ocean. The 116681 features a two-tone Everose and stainless steel Oyster bracelet with an Oysterlock safety clasp for optimal security.
