Vintage Watch Condition Examination
This GMT is in good, attractive vintage condition consistent with age. The case is in overall good condition with normal signs of wear. The caseback shows some wear and signs of polishing. The hallmark on the back of the one o'clock lug is visible. Serial and reference numbers are visible. The black bezel is in good condition with normal signs of wear; it is a later service replacement. The dial is in great condition with light patina. The hour markers and hands have developed patina. The lume on the dial has developed patina and aged to an attractive creamy color. The lume in the hands has aged to a similar color as the lume on the dial; the GMT hand has been color corrected/ relumed and the color matches the other lume nicely.
Description: Rolex GMT-Master 1675
The reference 1675 is the second iteration of the original GMT Master and was offered in multiple variations. A handful of metal options were produced under ref. 1675, including the all-gold like the example we have here. It pairs with a beautiful black dial and black bezel. However, what really sets this watch apart from other vintage Rolexes on the market are the charming yellow gold nipple hour markers.
