1966 Rolex 1675 Gilt Faded Pepsi GMT
Description : 1965 Gilt Rolex GMT. The gilt era GMT’s refer to the golded gilded text and glossy dials that define late 50’s- mid 60’s Sport Rolex’s. The dial is in excellent shape with large yellow lume plots. The faded super fat font insert is period correct as well and contrasts nicely against the glossy gilt dial. Hands we believe been color matched or perhaps a bit earlier. Dial is a type C which is one of the last Gilt dials made and subsequently means that the lume is zinc sulfide and tritium which allows the lume to still react to strong UV sources. Case is gorgeous with fat beveling throughout the lugs.
