A beautiful example of the hard to find Rolex 6538, worn by ‘James Bond’ in ‘Doctor No’. A wonderful catalogue piece pertaining to Rolex’s earlier history, it still runs its original vintage glass showing the internal crazing, which the new owner can of course change. This of course is the GTO variant that sports 4 lines of printing on the dial rather than 2 pertaining to its chronometer rated movement.
