1965 Rolex 5512 Gilt Submariner
Description : The Gilt 5512 is a 4 line variant of the 5513 reference. It has two additional lines of text under the typical depth rating and Submariner name, which denotes the additional stringent SCOC testing required of the 5512. Seconds matter especially when one is submerged in ocean depths, and this more accurate and tested reference was 30% more expensive than its non tested counterpart. The insert comes with a long 5 insert which is correct here. The lume plots are bright and saturated yellow and the gloss dial retains its gloss finish.
