1970 Rolex Red Submariner 1680 MK 2 Meters first Tropical Dial Case: The thick and even case is excellent showing wide, sharp, prominent bevels and only light wear form use. The bezel insert is also in excellent condition and has aged to a silvery lavender hue showing only light wear from use.
Dial: The MK 2 dial has aged with a warm chocolate brown tropical patina showing little if any wear for its age overall. There is some light chipping to several of the index markers at the very edge of the dial. The lume has aged to a clean creamy hue and the hands match perfectly.
Bracelet: The 11 folded link Oyster bracelet is excellent showing only light stretch for its age. The clasp is stamped with a 1976 date code.
