A superb and rare, mint and full-set, water-resistant, automatic, stainless steel, tonneau-shaped, certified chronometer wristwatch with gloss black dial, luminous hands, date, sweep center seconds, green bezel and stainless steel Oyster bracelet, Ref. 93250, with secured deployant clasp.
Fitted with a caliber 3135, rhodium-plated, 31 jewels, self-winding, certified chronometer, hack mechanism, straight line lever escapement, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, shock-absorbers, monometallic balance with Microstella screws. Screwed case back and crown, sapphire crystal.
Dial, case and movement signed.
Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 12.70 mm.
Accompanied by a fitted presentation box with outer packaging, booklet, guarantee dated November 2006, anchor tag, red chronometer seal.
Rolex introduced the green bezel Submariner, Ref. 16610LV for Lunette Verte (Green Bezel), in 2003 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Submariner model. The model, aka « Kermit », features a green bezel insert and a black dial with large round luminous indexes - the so-called Maxi dial. The model is no more in production and sought-after by collectors.
