Rolex Submariner (No Date) 5513 MAXI MK1 'Meters First'

One of the most important pieces that Rolex has ever made… the Submariner 5513. To many the 5513 is the undisputed king of the Submariner history. With one of the longest production runs of any reference in the history of Rolex, the 5513 has many special and unique iterations across its journey. This particular iteration being a highly collectable Maxi MK1 dial with beautiful naturally faded orange hue lume. This piece also features a well kept case and bracelet that seems to have had very few polishes in its life as it still maintains good crown definition on the clasp and sharp edges along the case and bracelet. It also features a characterful domed plexiglass crystal that gives this watch a little something different compared to many of the Maxi dial Submariners. The Maxi MK1 dial, sometimes called ‘Meters First’, is immediately recognisable by the ‘Submariner’ script residing below the depth rating on the dial. Some find this the most collectable of all the Maxi dials as it was the first of this style that Rolex offered. Offered here is a beautiful example in very good condition dated circa 1967 (based on a serial number search). 1967 No Box & No Papers Good Condition Please let us know if you have any questions regarding this Rolex.
