We are proud to present this impressive Rolex Sea-Dweller DeepSea for sale in mint condition, fully checked and authenticated in our accredited workshop.
The Sea-Dweller was originally developed in 1967 to compliment the already popular Rolex tool-watches, the Sea-Dweller was developed originally for saturation divers working for SeaLab who were spending a lot longer underwater than your casual diver. Because of those extreme conditions and depths, the divers noticed that the crystal would pop out of the case during decompression due to the helium particles in the case. So, Rolex developed the Helium release valve under their patent and thus the Sea-Dweller was born.
In 2008 Rolex launched the original version of the Deepsea, the ultimate evolution of the Sea-Dweller, flaunting a large 44mm Oyster case measuring a sizable 17.7 mm thick. The size and thickness of the stainless steel case are required to achieve the Deepsea’s impressive water resistance of 3,900 meters. To attain this, the case is built according to Rolex’s patented Ringlock System, which includes a nitrogen-alloyed steel ring at the centre of the case, a helium escape valve to rid the watch of built-up gases, a 5.5 mm thick domed sapphire crystal, and a steel and titanium caseback.
This version the 126660 was launched in 2018 following on from the original version and is also set in a 44mm stainless steel Oyster case with a uni-rotational black Cerachrom bezel. The glossy black dial features applied ‘Maxi’ style hour markers with Chromalight luminous filling, matching hands and a date feature at 3 o’clock. Fitted with a domed sapphire crystal glass (5.5mm thick) and a Triplock screw-down crown for additional water resistance. It is powered by the updated Rolex calibre 3235 automatic movement with up to 70 hours of power reserve and comes fitted on the updated Oystersteel bracelet with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp with Glidelock extension system.
Originally purchased in 2020 and in mint condition, this DEEPSEA comes with its original inner and outer boxes, seal, swing tag, leather card holder, instruction booklet, guarantee manual, original purchase receipt and international warranty card.
This watch is under Rolex manufacturers warranty until 2025.
