Rolex Seadweller ref 16660 “Triple 6” Transitional Patina’d circa 1984
A great looking early sapphire crystal “triple 6” Sea-Dweller with a great vintage look! Featuring a 40mm diameter case with unidirectional elapsed time bezel and helium escape valve. With a beautiful condition early and original glossy black tritium (T<25) dial with richly patina’d tritium lume plots and with matching patina original tritium lume hands. Featuring an especially beefy lug case that appears to have been previously polished, and with clean and unmarred case back. Elapsed time bezel shows light surface scratches associated with use and with original pearl that has patina’d a rich tan color. With correct and original excellent condition 93160 bracelet with solid 592 end links, flip lock clasp, and matching J4 date code.
Powered by self winding caliber 3035 movement with sweep seconds and quick set date. Recently serviced and pressure tested for water resistance. Offered with our 1 year warrantee of accurate time keeping and operation.
The dial on this model, as we often see on the early gloss dials has turned more to a matte surface. The surface is clean without oil stains, hand drag, “icing” of the dial surface, or any other issues. The tritium lume of the dial and hands is all original and have aged beautifully. We see very few “triple 6’s” in our travels, and are proud to offer this especially lovely example.
