Among the most sought-after variants of the legendary “Bubbleback” series, the present reference 3595 stands out with its engraved, rigid, hooded lugs and smooth bezel. It also features an attractive combination of a stainless steel and pink gold case, a rarer configuration compared to the more common full steel version. The pink reeded hooded lugs are nicely preserved, still showing most of the engravings, with the numbers on the back remaining clearly visible and deep. The salmon pink dial complements the tone of the lugs and features thin baton hands and subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock. This reference is defined by its unusual case design, featuring a flat cylindrical bezel of considerable width and “hoods” covering the open space normally found between the lugs, making it a very elegant and appreciable timepiece.
