Rolex GMT-Master II born in 2023 with reference 126713GRNR that has a revised case compared to their predecessors. One of the biggest changes to this model, however, is the jubilee bracelet.
The ending letters of the reference number are “GRNR”. This stands for Gris Noir, or in English, Grey, and black. This means that it is not just a plain black Cerachrom bezel insert like the previous yellow-gold versions. Instead, the bezel is now a two-tone with a combination of black and grey. Rolex will likely never go back to using single-colored bezel inserts for the GMT as the two-tone color adds functionality to the watch and makes it easier to distinguish night from day.
It’s made of highly durable ceramic that is extremely hard and highly scratch-resistant. It has excellent corrosion resistant properties & is unaffected by ultraviolet rays so the color will not fade.
Rolex also created a special patented nano-particle process to paint the bezel markers with gold, guaranteeing that they will remain timeless like the gold links.
The GMT-Master II is fitted with an in-house, Rolex Caliber 3285 has an approximate power reserve of 70 hours. The bracelet is Stainless steel with 18kt yellow gold center links.
It has brushed outer stainless steel links and polished yellow gold center links with polished edges. It has an scratch resistant sapphire crystal protecting the dial. The case is round and 40mm in diameter. The crown screws down using a triplock triple waterproofness system. The case back is screwed in. The buckle is a folding oysterlock safety clasp with the patented Easy extensionlink 5mm system. Waterproof to 100 meters / 300 feet.
Ofcourse it has the GMT/2nd Time Zone Function. The GMT/Dual Time zone is indicated by the gold hand with the luminous arrow-head tip pointing to the 24 hour indications on the bezel.
