While sought after on the vintage market, patination is nearly unheard of in modern catalogues, especially from Rolex. And yet, this reference 216570, delivers exactly that. Years of regular wear and exposure to the sun (on a golf course, actually) have taken the orange color from the “EXPLORER” text and replaced it with a light yellow. A very subtle change, but unmistakable. Not to mention, so tasteful.
