Rolex Explorer II Orange Hand First Series
There can be little doubt the 'Orange Hand' was as close as Rolex ever got to the funkyness of the Omegas from the same period. It's a conundrum to me that with the re-introduction of the orange hand some years ago now that the originals have not shot up in value. To be able to buy first series examples such as this with a slightly different bezel and dial configuration to that of all subsequent models, with of course the non-lollipop straight second hand for sub 30's, makes no sense to me whatsoever.
