Diameter 39 Caliber 3085, 27 jewels Signature Dial, Case and movement signed Accessories fitted box, punched warranty, Rolex service card and booklet dated 2008 Replacing the original Explorer II bearing reference 1655, the newly launched 16550 was introduced to the market in 1985 as the first 5 digit reference number in the catalogue. Only produced over four years before being replaced by the new reference 16570 which was produced in much higher quantities and was retired in 2011. Early Explorer II's accompanied with their original certificates are becoming increasingly difficult to find and in our opinion still undervalued.
