We sell this truly unique Rolex Explorer with the reference number 16550 in beautiful condition.
This model was produced after the now vintage "Steve McQueen" Explorer, but before the well-known 16570, we could even say that this model is the "Fat lady" of the Explorers.
Although at first glance you might think it's a "plain" 16570, there's actually very few things that's the same between the two watches. The movement, the thickness of the case, the dial, but even the numerals on the bezel are different, much thicker and more angular on the 16550.
The model is a rare piece, especially in such beautiful condition, scratch-free on the case, bracelet, clasp, and glass too. Freshly serviced so the movement is also clean and accurate. It has a serial 8.43*. so it is from 1985.
It will be delivered in a double box, with booklet, tag, in beautiful condition.
