Serial number 3.6 mil. = 1974 Actually, this reference was worn by Sir Edmund Hillary and Reinhold Messner. Cool enough for me! The case of this watch has been professionally re-finished during a Rolex service in 1995, and has only been worn occasionally ever since. Look at these chamfers!
