1979年頃に製造された自動巻腕時計。
1655はエクスプローラーⅡの1stモデルとして1971年に製造開始しています。
24時間表示ベゼルに連動したオレンジカラーの24時間針を備えており、昼夜の判別が難しいとされる洞窟探検家向けに当時製造されていました。
アンティーク スポーツロレックスの中でもひと際目立つポップなカラーと複雑なダイヤルデザインは1970年代製ならではといえます。
24時間表示の偶数時をバーインデックス、奇数時をスクエアインデックスに分けて表示するなど、24時間時計の複雑な時間表示を考慮した造りになっています。
年代物の雰囲気を楽しみたい方にオススメの逸品です。
