Signature dial, case and movement According to Rolex experts, only 36 examples of the 18k gold ref 6234 were ever made. Yellow gold (18-carat), manual-winding, tonneau-shaped, anti-magnetic gentleman’s wristwatch, with subsidiary seconds at 9 and three horological complications: • 1/5 second chronograph (activated by the two round push-pieces located on the case-band) with tachometric scale graduated for 1 000 metres in black colour and telemetric scale graduated for a kilometre in blue colour • Half-instantaneous 30-minute counter (subsidiary dial at 3 o’clock) • 12-hour counter (subsidiary dial at 6 o’clock) Case: three-piece, polished and satin-finished, inclined bezel, water-resistant with screwed case-back, polished screwed “Oyster” winding-crown Dial: silver colour, with applied radial yellow gold indexes and luminescent dots; yellow gold luminescent skeleton “Alpha” hands. Movement: calibre 72 , 13’’’ (based on Valjoux 72 by Reymond Frères, Les Bioux, Vallée de Joux), 17 jewels. Other: bracelet engraved with the cypher “C.A.G.”
