A very fine and attractive, possibly unique, water-resistant, tonneau-shaped, automatic, stainless steel and 18K yellow gold, certified chronometer and chronograph wristwatch with very unusual two-tone, light brown and silvery registers dial, applied gold Arabic numerals luminous hands, 12-hour and 30-minute registers, constant second, gold inclined bezel with tachymeter scale, screwed gold pushers and crown, 18K yellow gold and stainless steel Oyster bracelet, Ref. 78393, with deployant clasp.
Fitted with a caliber 4030, based Zenith, rhodium-plated, certified chronometer, 31 jewels, shock-absorbers, monometallic balance with Microstella timing screws, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, blued steel screws, self-winding, column-wheel chronograph mechanism.
Dial, case and movement signed.
Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 12.40 mm. Approx. overall length for bracelet 180 mm.
Accompanied by a presentation box.
To the best of our knowledge, the present steel and gold Daytona is featuring a never seen before dial configuration, a light brown cappuccino colored dial with silvery register rings and applied gold Arabic numerals. At the time of cataloguing, we have not been able to find another example, featuring the same configuration, on the market.
