Rolex Day-Date 36 18048
This watch was my father’s. He purchased it from
A jewellery store in Gerrards Cross, Bucks, for his 40th bday in 1984.
The watch is VERY well preserved, not having been worn much.
I took it to Cartier this year for them to check it over and their master watch maker urged me not to sell it if I didn’t have to, as it’s such a special specimen. Sadly I cannot justify keeping it so it has to go. But it’s a real eye catcher and a genuine classic ROLEX. Solid 18 carat gold with diamonds around the face & numbers.
