The Oyster Perpetual Datejust has a rich history that dates all the way back to the brand’s very first self-winding watches from the 1930s. The indices and baton hour and minute hands are treated with Rolex’s proprietary Chromalight which glows blue in the dark.
The 278274 has a brand-new calibre 2236 Perpetual movement.
An automatic movement that can store up to 55 hours of power. With its Syloxi hairspring, the movement is also highly resistant to shocks and magnetic fields. Like all Rolex watches, the Oyster Perpetual 31 is a Superlative Chronometer having undergone specific controls by Rolex and obtained COSC chronometer certification. Its rate accuracy is of -2/+2 seconds a day.
The stainless steel finish is crafted from Rolex's proprietary 904L-grade steel. It is highly resistant to corrosion and scratches, creating a watch that anyone can wear without worry.
